Volunteer

 

 

You may volunteer your time and talents in numerous ways at Alpha Pregnancy Resource Center.  We’ve provided a list of volunteer descriptions and some special projects where we could use your help.  The following list shows all of the different areas where volunteers are utilized at Alpha. Please call to find out where we currently need volunteers.

 

Concerned about your qualifications?  You may be thinking, “I wouldn't know what to say or do to help a person in crisis”.  If you have a heart to work directly with clients, Alpha Pregnancy Resource Center can offer the training you need to effectively assist people in crisis.

Gifted Area        Description

Peer Counselor

Drivers

We provide the training, you provide the time!  Peer counselors are women and men who serve at the Center by providing a listening ear and resource options to clients who come to the Center.

NEXT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION MEETING WILL BE HELD IN LATE JUNE 2013.

Once the ICU Mobile unit is in place, we will need Peer Counselors who are also willing to drive the mobile unit. DRIVERS can also be men that are NOT Peer Counselors.

Special Events Volunteer

Are you too busy to volunteer time on a regular basis but interested in being involved?  We need volunteers who will help when we hold FUNdraising events, need to have Silent Auction items picked up, flyers distributed to area churches and businesses, and other special projects!

Prayer Partner

We are enabled to effectively help clients because of the support of our prayer partners. Can you commit to lifting up the Center and its clients daily in your prayer time?  If so, please send an email to: director@alphaprc.com and we will forward your information to our Prayer Team Coordinator!

Liaison

We need men and women who will learn about the Center and its mission and services in order to share this information publicly at your churches, community groups, and more.

Ultrasonographer

Are you a RDMS in OB/GYN? Willing to donate 4 hrs. per week (or more)? We need you to help us on our new ICU Mobile unit!

Lawyers

We and our clients regularly need legal assistance.  Can you advise or help us when we need professional help?
